Default Abbotsford Low Carb Store - Awesome!

I had to go to Abbotsford for work today and didn't get out till just after 5. This is important cos I wanted to check out this low carb store I'd heard about, called Carb Cutters, but I didn't have a precise address and I don't know Abbotsford... LOL

Well, I *just* made it there and very glad I did - they close at 5:30 PM. They have the best selection of any low carb store that I've seen! Tons of Walden Farms products, tons of Atkins, Mini Carb, Carbsense, etc.... They even have Atkins cookie mixes (no I didn't buy any LOL). They even have Diet Rite and Waist Watchers pop and La Tortilla brand tortillas... along with several other LC breads for about 4.99 a loaf.

I got Atkins lemon poppyseed muffin mix cos I haven't seen it anywhere else in BC and I really liked it the one time I bought it in the US. That was $7.59, just about the same as it is in the US.

Also got (get this) some La Tiara taco shells. Now these are not a low carb specific product, they are normal food that happens to be low carb. There are 18 shells in the box for $6.99. Will let you know how they are, but I have heard great things about them.

I also bought some Pauline Johnson low carb peanut brittle - OMG, it's REALLY good. Maltitol-sweetened, of course. It was $3.99 and apparently has 1 net carb in the whole (little) bag.

Also found the Arama soy pretzels that I bought in the US once before; they are 3.99 for 3 oz.

Pure Delite truffles are 0.99 each - small, but very good - 3 flavours.

Finally, chocolate mousse, 2 net carbs, for $1.99 - I think made by the store.

Even though it's a heck of a drive, they have such a good selection, it's well worth it. There is a children's consignment store in the same mall and a ladies consignment store across the street...

Default Agree wholeheartedly

I live in Abby and just stumbled on this store. Their peanut brittle is sooooo good, just takes that sweet tooth right away.

And lots of dressings and sauces to zip up meals. Very nice selection and helpful staff.
