Default You're gonna make me cry!!!

Thanks to all who welcomed me back after last night's post. I had a great day today, and reading your words of encouragement made it even better. Stayed completely out of the faculty room at work, brought a big lc lunch to school, (often my downfall in the past was that I would be ravenous in mid-afternoon and the only foods available were carbage.) and SLEPT IN!!!! I know the last part sounds odd, but during my treatment for the eating disorder, I finally realized that I am a compulsive exerciser (duh - as if running 70 miles a week is NORMAL.....) and I used to sacrifice a lot of sleep so that I would have time to exercise. This, in turn, would leave me feeling wasted and exhausted, and by about 7 at night, I was mindlessly eating brown sugar straight from the bag, which would lead me to run even more the next day... what a cycle..... Soooooooooo my new goals are actually to sleep more and exercise less. More yoga, more Pilates, less stressful running. I'm off to take a bubble vath now that my little boy is in bed!!!!

Sounds wonderful. Your recovery and willingness to share with us might give hope to some members struggling or in denial about the same thing. You show there's hope, and we're proud! Keep us posted! You may want to consider starting a journal on teh site, so we can cheer you on! There's a link at the top of "Newbies Questions" in the sticky post.
