Cool Take a look at my before and "during" cholesteral numbers!

Here's some interesting facts related to my Atkins diet results.

I started out at 195 lbs on Oct 1st 2003, with a goal to lose 20 lbs by March 1st 2004.

I had my cholesterol checked on Oct 15th.
I started Atkins on Nov 2nd at a weight of 192 lbs.
I had my cholesterol checked again on Jan 14th, after just over 10 weeks on Atkins.

Since starting Atkins, I've lost 18 lbs. These are the easiest 18 lbs I've ever lost in my life.

Here's the change in my cholesterol:
......................Oct 15th '03...Jan 14th '04
Total Cholesterol:.....212..........162
Triglicerides:............187...........47
HDL (good):..............39............40
LDL (bad):...............136..........113

When the nurse called with my test results, she started the converstation with "This is the most amazing change I've ever seen..."

Regards,
Dan

I love seeing these kinds of results. Mine are similar and shuts up most naysayers.

Congratulations! I had similar results. My doctor couldn't wait to discuss it with me, he had his med. assistant call me to tell me the results came back great and then he had me schedule an appointment to show them to me LOL!!! He wants to see me monthly now while I'm in OWL.
