good news...and some bad
good news is that i am back on metformin, im doing great on it. and i am scheduled soon to have a ultrasound on my ovaries to see how they are doing. i am also on spironolactone. however i am getting bad side effects from that and i am gonna have to go to the doc monday. i am having irregular heart beats and getting dizzy. ontop of that i stay really ill all the time. i know something is wrong because i have not been myself here lately. any other options about what i can do? the spironolactone is for the fluid retention and the excess hair growth.
How much of the spiro are you taking? Are you on anything besides Spiro and metformin? Spiro may causes your potassium levels to increase which can be very dangerous. The dizziness and irregular heart beats may be from the increased potassium. I know you are going to the doctor, make sure he/she knows that you are feeling dizziness and irregular heart beats.

It might not be medication related. It could be Acanthosis Nigricans, a skin condition associated with insulin resistance, overweight, PCOS, Type 2 diabetes. (You needn't suffer from all of those conditions in order to develop it. You can find a lot of information about it through Google.
Here are a few of the links I thought had decent information. (The third link has some rather graphic photos, so anyone who is sensitive to such things may want to skip over it.)
