Good Afternoon!

I ran out of time this morning since I had to be at the golf course by 7:30. I was home from playing before 11! There were 3 of us for the front 9, but my regular partner who is struggling, quit after 9. I feel bad for her. She used to be a pretty good player, but now she just can't seem to figure it out. It is a very frustrating game.

We can't play tomorrow since there's a tournament being played at our course. We're supposed to play Saturday morning. Tomorrow I'll just enjoy puttering around and hit up the grocery store. Maybe Aldi too.

I'm frying a nice piece of haddock for dinner tonight. I'll make DH some fries or something to go with the fish. Tomorrow night we're going out or ordering in.....I'm tired of the planning and preparing.

That's it from here. Hope you all are having a good week!

Hi all-

Oh man, Karen, I'm so sorry. That's so sad, and sort of the end of an era with you guys- farm pets and also sweet Bolt. Big big big hugs to you.

Lori, that stinks that your partner is struggling with her game. She's probably all up in her head and getting herself knotted up.

Jaz yay for the bloat leaving town! I'm sure the right job, whatever that is, will come through sooner or later.

--

Life is going along here. Met a friend for breakfast at her house this morning, now I'm waiting on the pest guy and then this evening Rob and I are doing a double date with another couple for dinner. I'll be finished socializing by the end of the day for sure. Tmrw is a graduation party for my niece (HS Grad) and nephew (8th grade grad- is there even such a thing? why??) DD will being baby E over here for a while and then we are going together and DH will meet us there.

Went to an REI 'class' last night about packing a backpack- three people were supposed to attend but I was the only one who showed, I assume due to weather, so I had my own little class. Turns out there were tornadoes in our area as I was leaving and alas, one touched own on the very road I was driving on. I didn't see it or anything which is good but that's kind of scary.

I need to start the next book club book- First Lie Wins- I've been a slow reader lately so I need to get going on that. Too long a wait at the library so I will have to buy it. Boo.

Good Morning!

No golf today, so here I am! Slept great and ready to have a run around, putter around day. I'm going to try a new "recipe" for dinner tonight. Smash burger tacos....in my mind, they come out yummy. We'll see. I have to go get lettuce, tomato etc to build the tacos. DH says it sounds good to him, so it'll be fun to see how they turn out.

I should go for a walk today too, but it seems unlikely. A day of rest won't hurt me. I walk a lot on the golf course and I'll be back at it tomorrow.

Hope you all have something fun to look forward to this weekend.

Thanks guys.

We are waiting on the Chops friend to bring down his smaller backhoe. This is when ya need to dig a big hole fast and kinda wish we didn't sell the backhoe back then, but hey, when someone wants a backhoe to buy, ya sell it LOL But covered cause he should be here soon and we can get her in the ground soon.

No more animals to tend. WOW....literally and end of an era like Nicco mentioned but ok ya know. She literally was the last farm livestock 'pet' and now it is over and the farm is 'dead' at this point. It is cool, I got full on retirement and travel in my sights now

OK check in later guys. Gotta handle what we gotta handle.

TGIF Ladies!

Trig- OMG I am so sorry over Lollipop. I know you had that "old goat" for a long moment. It does sound like though it was super peaceful for him. It does sound like the end of the farm like with all the animals.
Hey on a brighter note- we have pure sun today and tomorrow!!

Did you get your steaks? Do you like your Food Lion? I have read some real creepy and shady stuff they do to their meat. I have stopped shopping there. It might just be the store in my area too. I will say though I just don't think much of them, I prefer Ingles, or Publix for meat. Aldies is best for fish.

Did you get your pool cleared up?

Lori- So thinking about you. I am TRYING to list a Golf Club on eBay and had to Google it. I know ZIP about golf clubs. It is a custom-made Gigi 3 featherlight club 3. Whatever that means. With standard grip and has the "special" groove on the putter part. LOLOLOL -
Can you see me trying to list this sucker: Awsome club- the hitting part is so special! LOLOL Paid all of 2.50 for it. I am thinking of listing it for 80.00????? It is pretty clean.

Too bad about your P quitting on the 9. What's up with her? Anybody else to play with?

What are you ordering tonight? I agree Friday night= no cooking.

Nic- Boy you are the social butterfly of the group for sure! I get "peopled" out too!!!!!!
Oh yes there is an 8th grade graduation. It is ridiculous if you ask me. But hey- I am old school in my thinking on that.

How is La'bebe doing? How is momma doing? So cool!
----------------------------------------------------------------

Yummmmm on my first cup of coffee. Today is going to be a 100% Summer like day. Sunshine, hot and close to 90degrees.

My gal pal invited me to a Friday evening: Music in the park! Maybe. I haven't decided. I have been in a mood to just sorta be with me, myself, and I. I'm just not feeling like being around a bunch of people.

That being said- I do plan to hit up the Greenville JAZ Festival. They are going to have Music, Crafts, Food Trucks, beer/wine, and just a fun event over the weekend. I might go to that. I am going solo though. I'm just not in a talkie mood. Go figure!

Doing my hair today. Washing that gray right out! LOL. Pup is also getting an "itch" bath today. He has licked and scratched a sore on his chest. I just don't know what is causing all this scratching- but it is driving me crazy. I have changed his food. He is MOSTLY ground beef, cooked and rinsed. Then he gets a salmon chew once a day and Chicken at night. He get 1/4 cup grain free pebble in his meat for crunch. 90% meat. So over his itching! BATH DAY.

WOE- I am bouncing 4 pounds. URGHHHHHH. I am not cheating either.
Today I am in the mood for hamburgers. I might have a side of bacon. I did have some dill pickle slices. Zero carbs. I dunno.
I have "light" wine too, this cuts carbs. I have lost my weight last time without giving up wine completely. LOLOL - I have really cut that back.
I need to work out some. I have been SAYING that for months! LOLOL

Still job hunt, Playing on eBay (hobby), and swing trading stocks. Bits and pieces. I also need some insurance. That is another post. I am looking into the Market place Insurance.

Anyway.......... things going well. In all of this I feel pretty good!

Have a grand day!

Hi all

Quick check in

Trig big hugs to you all. It has been a year over there, I tell ya.

Jaz sorry for the bounce house. I'm sure it will drop back pretty quickly. Lots of social opportunities for you there!

Lori- Enjoy your day and let us know how the recipe goes.

LeBebe and Mama are coming over shortly. They will hang out here a bit and then we head off to a graduation party for my niece and nephew. Then I get a walk in with a neighborhood friend at five. Done and done!

LeBebe is doing well- smiling and cooing a bit and just becoming a little more tolerable as a human KWIM? It's nice to see them start to settle in a little more. DD is also making a few mom friends and that made a world of difference for me.

All right I gotta bounce!

Good Morning!

Up stupid early for a Saturday morning. I have to leave for the golf course at 7AM. There was a snafu with our tee time for today. I got notified last evening that it had been canceled! WTH? The Pro shop had to do it by accident, because I didn't do it. No one else has access to it. My playing pal called the Pro shop and they didn't know what happened, but told us to show up and they would get us out. Weird situation. Never had that happen before.

Jaz.....the term you're searching for is "club face". I think you referred to it as the "hitting part" or "putter part" I am not familiar with that make of club or anything about it. If it has a 3 on it then it is either a 3 wood or a 3 hybrid with probably a loft of 20 or 21 degrees. Good luck!

Nic....So cool that DD is making other Mom friends. Glad all is going well.

Trig....You probably are holding your breath wondering what on earth could happen next. Sigh......I hope things start looking up!

Well, I have to get moving. These early morning starts are a PITA!

Lori, nah I ain't holding my breath on what will go down next LOL if I did I would be dead meat by now HAHA Hey all good, I feel like life is lightening up a tiny bit and I will tell ya why.....I am not reacting to it anymore. I do best by myself, alone, not reactions, get out of my own way on thoughts/worry, let others do their thing and stay back alot of steps and when real life like a pet death or even a person happens, I know one thing on that, it is real life so......

weird on your golf time issue? huh

Jazz, mostly bloat is your issue. being 'cleaner' they key for me now is sodium intake. your pickle is pure sodium. your maybe bacon is pure sodium. You want that bounce to go down, you now cut back sodium intake like crazy. Cause I am now going way lower salt intake and I get that lean/mean/thinner fighting machine body vs. 'the bloat'

oh gosh don't trash Food Lion on meats for me....don't tell me more, it is my closest store and I am getting good buys so....lol....gosh don't let me know more please HA

Nicco you are a social butterfly. I know ya love your non contact people time like me. I think I beat ya tho. I am now starting to avoid people like the plague and I am loving my hermit life time LOL you are still putting yourself out there so it is good ya go a good balance on that.

---------------today shrimp and 1/2 lb cheeseburger patty
2 meal I got some pork chops but not sure if I will do those. EH, who cares, in the end my meat is my meat

kiddo took my car to Winston Salem to help her friend move into her new digs there. friend from Uni. So Cassie and her mom moved from VA Beach to Win.Salem so it will be alot better for her regarding trips back from Uni thru the yrs. Told kiddo anything goes down with my car if she don't tell me her life is toast....lol....she smiled like yea and I gave my look and she avoided eye contact and said OK.....yea I still got it LOL

ok enough of all that stuff
got crap to handle as we all do
check back later, have fun good day all

Good almost evening!

This "Jaz" went to the jazz festival downtown. The "kids" met me there. It was hot and packed!!!!! I actually had to pay to park.

It is beautiful and hot here. I am so tired.

Ruger has a skin yeast infection. He is scratching until it bleeds. I took him to Petsmart to get a tee shirt to cover up his skin to protect it from himself.
I had the doctor there at Banfield peek at it while I was there. She said to use triple antibiotic cream. If it doesn't clear up by Tue he is getting seen= $$$$$
ALWAYS something with this dog. I love him, but dam he is needy and costly compared to my Bella.

I will chat up a bunch tomorrow as I will be fresh and ready to type. I am fading a bit here!

Hope you all having a stellar day.

Good Morning!

OMG....I was SO tired last night. Golf, walking and a couple beers put me in the tank! I went to bed before 9 and I was out like a light. I guess the combo of getting up early, golf & alcohol was too much for me. Guess what? I'm heading right back there today! I'll probably be playing every day this week as there is no rain in the forecast after this morning. A morning shower possible today, but it should be out of here by the time we tee off.

Jaz.....Have you recovered from your day yesterday? It sounds like fun. Sorry the pup is having skin issues. I'm sure it's miserable for him and you!

Trig....You are so smart to distance yourself from what you can and not being stressed about it all. Deal with what needs to be dealt with and don't worry about the rest. Did your car come back in one piece? I'm sure your DD knows "the look" when you throw it her way and knows to take it seriously!

Nic...How's your weekend going?

Ok...time to think about getting this day going. Have a good one!
