Smile New here

Hi All - I'm new here and I thought I would introduce myself. I've read SPI and SPII and have tried various versions of low-carb eating over the last couple of years. I found Atkins to be too low carb for me, I had no energy and was constantly lightheaded. I'd always though SP was the most sensible low-carb eating plan but was always after the quick weight loss fix of some of the more severe plans - which didn't really work for me, I always put the weight back on. So, I'm back to SPII and hoping that I can resist the quick fix and heal my metabolism for good. I'm hoping to start trying to have a baby soon, so I really want to be as healthy as I can be before we start. I'm following the insulin sensitive / burnt out adrenal glands plan, although I haven't had any tests done - it just seems to be the most likely one for me. So, 'Hi everyone', I hope I get to know some of you better and can join in with the discussions.

Kudu

Hi Kudu:

Welcome aboard. There are quite a few of us on the IS/BOAG program. This way of eating is wonderfully balanced and really brings us back to the basics of real food. Best of luck!

Hi! Glad you've joined us! I'm new here too. I've been eating the SP way for almost 3 weeks. I've learned much and had great support here all ready. And I feel great!

Kudo, glad you've joined us. You will find many of us have tried Atkins to and have switched for various reasons. I lost weight quickly but felt horrible. SP is so balanced and healthy. Be sure and visit journals to get to know people and to see how they are doing.
