Talking 60 Day Challenge Feb1-Mar31 2004

Well with January almost over I can say that I'm glad I've made it this far! This is the longest time that I've ever been able to maintain a healthy way of eating/life. And to really get me motivated I would like to complete a 60-day challenge that would be capped off with a marathon at the end! There are daily, weekly and final goals all geared towards staying motivated and finishing what has been started. It would be nice to have some support as well as others that are willing to undertake this endeavor with me. Life is short and we might as well look good while doing it.

So here is the plan and the reasoning behind it. I chose 60 days because it's short enough to be easily accomplished while still staying focused and it will give us a measurable amount of time to see short term goals set and completed. It's also a good time frame for training for a 5K race...or perhaps a 10K if we're doing real well Before the beginning of the week it will be our responsibility to gather our personal weekly goals and I'll post some board goals as well. It's been said that if you set goals you're more likely to succeed....and succeed we will! Weigh-in's will be on Sundays, this will keep us from cheating on Saturdays plus it's the first day of the week and for those of you who are religous it might be a good time to pray...."Lord please let the numbers go down..."

Start date is Feb 1 - so weigh in and get your goals ready for the first week/days so you'll be right on track. End date is Mar 31. Total 60 days, 8 weeks, 2 months. Easy enough, huh?! I'll post weekly goals this weekend....

So let's get started and we'll see you at the finish line!
