Cool Daily Menu Thread 11/10

My menu for 11/10:

Plan: Atkins
Phase: Post Induction
Variation: I try to eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day (every 2-3 hours)

Meal One: 2 strips of bacon, 1 egg

Meal Two: FlaxOMeal cereal, cinnamon and spice flavor, with pat of butter, cream and Splenda

FlaxOMeal is a good source of fiber (11 carbs per serving, 10 carbs of fiber for 1 effective carb) and contains flaxseed which is one of the essential oils. Very nutty flavor and a good hot cereal for those that crave having cereal. Available in a few flavors on the net wherever low carb choices are sold (netrition, low carb connosseiur, carbsmart etc). Also in some health food stores.

Meal Three: scoop of Egg salad on lettuce

Meal Four: Turkey burger with small side salad

Meal Five: small chicken breast on bed of green beans

Meal Six: Protein shake (butter cream flavor from MetRx)

Default Menu for Saturday 11/10/2001

Plan: Protein Power

Breakfast: Breakfast quiche (Fran McCullough's basic plus sausage)

Lunch: Out! at a French bistro-type restaurant
Sliced chicken and mushrooms on wild field greens, dressed with oil and vinegar, mineral water

Dinner: Pork tenderloin (thank you, Paris and Karen on the recipes thread) cooked in butter and garlic; Brussel sprouts slathered in butter

Water: 2 liters plus the glass at lunch

Snack: 1/4 cup pecans

Okay, here's Sat. November 10th.

HB eggs............1
1pm
HB eggs
Tuna/spinach/mushroom salad
mayo.....................10 tops

5pm
Chicken/asparagus/butter...5
