Welcome to all of you who recently joined this challenge. We have a nice group of dedicated low carbers here looking to stay accountable. Lets do this. So far my first week was just so-so. All was OP eating, but I'm looking to have the scale move in the other direction. We had company this weekend. I stayed out of the pizza and the muffins that showed up on the kitchen table. I also avoided the Halloween candy that my wife loaded up on in advance of the trick-or-treaters. I did have my wife put it away though. Out of sight, out of mind. In the 'bad' old days, I was always dipping into the Halloween treats before and after the 31st. These days I know that I have to stay out of it -- completely out of it -- to have any chance of staying on track. I can't do 'fun sized' candy in moderation. Abstinence works - moderation does not.
