As a side note, it's the second time I find the words appetite and carbs(sugar) in the same sentence (also to mean the same thing, i.e. sugar appetite, rewire one's appetite for carbs) on this forum. Here's the first: http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=476616

"A lot of work has examined the central mechanisms regulating sugar-seeking behavior, but the post-ingestive mechanisms regulating sugar appetite are poorly understood,"

It's probably just a coincidence. Nevertheless, in both instances, it appears to be blatant misuse of the word appetite. To illustrate, the first definition (dictionary.com) of hunger is "a compelling need or desire for food", while the first definition of crave is "to long for; want greatly; desire eagerly: to crave sweets; to crave affection."

Therefore, in both instances, the more correct phrase would be "sugar craving", and "rewire our cravings [for carbs]", respectively.

Sorry, my BS detector is on full alert.
