I watched it on TV a couple of weeks ago and he really has some great info that will help you. I looked at the pic of your tummy and it truly does appear to be more bloat and inflammation that actual weight/fat gain. You need to figure out how you will eat this way and keep at it for the long term. All the effects you're having now will go away in time.

For example, a few months ago I started eating sauerkraut as often as possible. Fermented foods are very good for our gut. I didn't eat it for several days over this past weekend and I felt bloated and horrible. I had some today with my 3 ozs. of roast beef for lunch and I feel so much better now.
Fermented foods are just one aspect of his talk. There lots of good info and the best 90 minutes you'll spend.
