Default A little unexpected weight gain.

Hi all. For those of you who don't know me I am doing the Atkins prolonged phase 1. I am off the 2 week induction (Since May of 2014), but still doing between 20 and 25 carbs a day.



On Feb 28th, I was 187. Now I'm 191. I'm wondering what may have caused the gain. Today, my pants fit tighter - I could just tell my waist expanded. Sure enough I got home from work and weighted in... to find a 4 lb gain.

Here are my theories:

1. Last week I had a cold. So this is retained water weight from the cold.
2. I've been snacking on much more cheese than usual.
3. I have been drinking 2-3 diet sodas / day... up from 0-1 diet sodas / day.
4. I went from 1 atkins bar every day or two... To eating 1 or 2 bars every day.

I've been in constant ketosis. Been checking daily as a cautionary measure to the changes to the diet I made. So... what do we think? What is to blame?
