I did go to the link Jean provided and found out I can buy the butter at The Fresh Market or Earth Fare. I will be at a Fresh Market this week and I will look for it.
I also want to go to TJ Maxx's while I am in Aiken because they carry Fido jars and I would love some smaller ones to experiment with. I want to ferment garlic, jicama and okra.
Thank you for sharing the ginger carrot recipe. That sounds really good.
If anyone is on Facebook, I have been spending a lot of time on this page, Donna Schwenk's Cultured Food Life. Donna also has an internet site with lots of good information and recipes.
Christmas Kraut sounds so good! I just have to get passed the dried cranberries since I eat low carb. I might just have to make that recipe a holiday treat.
