I prided myself on being an honest person, too. Then I got into OA & found out I lied to myself all the time! Amazing how we can fool ourselves - but not really. I think I knew I was lying to myself & that ratcheted up the anxiety - which called for more food.

I've got a lot more honest self-talk going on now - makes me feel a lot better.
