Two days after the fact I think you guys are right: It did trigger some cravings. This morning I woke up and was significantly more hungry than usual. After my usual eggs I ended up eating a granola bar because I was still hungry. Hasn't happened before...

Unfortunately, my mom used to own her own baking company, so she considers less "traditional" options (fake sugar, low-carb modifications) pretty much blasphemous.
