Ok.. I went to the doc to make sure everything was looking good. Well, he was very excited about my weight loss, and everything looked great, except the cholesterol.

Total=265
HDL 62
LDL 189

I had the test done before atkins and they didn't give me the breakdown, but the total was 199. That was on 10/5/00.

on 2\28\99 total was 202, HDL 57, didn't take LDL.

i know back in 92 or so, it was the first time i ever got it checked and it was borderline high, over 220.

any suggestions on what i can do?? the doc says he will recheck in 6 months and if he doesn't see improvements he wants to put me on meds NONONO, not what i want!!
