I know a few people with anorexia. I ask them what they ate last week and they'd say, "4 carrots and 40 ice cubes". I know for a fact a few of them had little to no self control. How does someone eat almost nothing with little self control ?
One idea I had was "Food makes people hungry". Having fasted a bit I think there is elements of truth in the idea. I think the food that is most responsible for appetite is carbs.
Even "less than optimal willpower me" can lose weight cutting the carbs !
