Thud, you are right about the time and consistency. I do want to give this a fair shake, and am trying to figure out the pattern that will work for me. I'm interested in the weekday vs weekend pattern for the obvious family, social and less structure reasons. I checked out the thread - I tried bulletproof coffee in the past as an alternative to breakfast too...Maybe that would be better than the similar amount of fat spread through the day in coffee, tea and broth.

Maydena, interesting thought about the broth. I have actually changed brands this week to a saltier (at least to the taste) brand and maybe that will help!

I agree about the snacking...but so far these drinks get me past the hunger. But i am sure water or plain green tea would help.

Thanks for the comments so far. I wonder if anyone out there does alternating days or less than 5 days a week with success...I have read others who now just eat one meal a day all the time...

i think the hardest thing is actually breaking the habit of midday eating.
