No change for me. Well, that's not entirely true. About 10 days ago I bought several LC Quest bars when I saw them on a clearance sale. 69 cents instead of $2.49. It turned out not to be such a good deal for me after all. Those bars have about 10 net carbs each and are really high in fiber. So there are likely more digestible carbs than the 10. I ate a couple of those bars in one afternoon and that blew out my carb limit. I put on 8 pounds of water over the next 2 days. That is what happens if I eat more than 45-50 net carbs in a day. It has taken me 10 days to get back down to where I was. Quest bars are in timeout. I can pass up the off-plan junk any day of the week. But I still have trouble with some things that I consider on-plan. I should never buy more than one Quest at a time. I probably should never buy them at all. No permanent damage. No carb cravings as a result. But I like to stay under my carb limit everyday. I'm not happy about what happened.

So - we are half way through this challenge. 6 weeks until New Year's Day! The carby goodies have already started showing up at my office. I'm staying out of the junk. You can, too. Lets do it together. And for me, the "Junk" includes Quest bars. They are off limits until further notice.
