Hi,

I have been doing LCHF diet now for 6 days and tested my urine today to find I am in ketosis! I am delighted but the test also showed nitrates.

I am a nurse so realise that this can be an indicator of infection but there were no leucocytes or blood so was wondering if this was also a side effect of the diet?
