My #1 goal with my diet is not to be hungry. For years I was hungry all the time and it made me insane. One day I told my future wife, "I'm going to eat all day today at work."

I never really achieved that goal until I started IF. I eat once a day now. When I first did IF, I would have a meal around 6 and then have a late-night snack before going to bed. But even the late-night snack seemed to be triggering hunger, so I gave it up. Now a typical eating "window" lasts from around 5PM till 8PM.

I still have moments where I think I might be hungry, but if I remind myself it's not real, the feeling passes away. On the other hand, if I eat, it usually turns into real hunger.
