All day New Years on PBS were specials to improve yourself, only one I hadn't seen was Dr KellyAnn's Bone Broth Diet. She natters on (has an irritating personality to me) and finally in the last few minutes lets the audience in on her "weight loss secret". Two days a week you only have Bone Broth...two 36 hour fasts! no grains, no sugar and two fasts a week...gee, how unique, I wasted two hours for that?

But not to worry about not liking bone broth, Maria Emmerich's new Keto book also includes IF on a 6:18 plan. And she suggests water only fasts, because the glycine in bone broth can stimulate insulin? She is not a fan of bone broth for fasting at all. I just got the book from the library and won't have time to delve into it more this week, but was intrigued by her comment.
