1. The Cook's Thesaurus is a virtual encyclopedia of foods, ingredients, tools and equipment. It includes alternate names of ingredients as well as pictures, and links to other resources. Very useful. Here is the link to the Dairy ingredients page, with details about milks, creams and cheeses.
