The best advice I have for a round belly is to stay low carb. We all store fat in different ways--but eventually, we all store it in our bellies.

I used to have a 24" waist. I don't expect to get that back--I'm 64, and have had four kids. But I was at 34" two years ago, and today I was at 29.5". Belly fat is the easiest for some people to put on, and they tend to lose it more slowly. But now that you know what your waist measurement is, you can check the progress every couple of weeks.

Last winter, for all sorts of reasons, none of them good, I ate a lot of carbs in the form of dried fruit, mostly. My waist went back up to almost 32", again. Your will keep dropping. Be proud of sticking to it, and be proud of asking for help when you needed it.
