As long as you stay out of the sun during the weeks of treatment. You must where a sunscreen on your face. Which is good to do anyway.

The treatments are once every 6 weeks! I don't believe the skin will turn unless your exposed a lot to the sun or tanning bed.

My advice...sunscreen!!!!
