Ordinarily, I'm alone when I eat, so no prob. Last summer when I was on my Texas Farewell Tour, my standard line was, "I'm fasting today." That way I could go without eating anything for people to disapprove. The people I used that line on just looked stunned, as if they must have heard me wrong. The idea of NOT EATING just doesn't occur to them.
