Question Some questions on PP - calories

Hi,
I'm doing Dr.Dahlqvist's plan, and I find it very much like Protein Power.
So I've been referencing Dr.Eades's blogs for info on optimizing my weight loss
and sticking with it, this time.I've done Atkins a long time ago and lost a lot
of weight, but stopped, can't remember why, it was a slow thing.

I have a few questions on the caloric requirements.
The plan I'm on does not mention any, and just says eat until satisfied, here is a list of foods, which is the way I like a plan.
I started doing it two weeks ago,
and find that my protein is around 70-100g,
carbs flutuate between 15-40 and around 70.
On the whole, I consume around 1000-1200 calories.
I find that I lose more when I consume 1000 calories, but also lose on 1100.
It seems the line is around 1300 where weight loss stops,
although I think it's too early to draw this conclusion.

I am happy with the losses, but I wonder if I'm hurting my metabolism by
consuming too few calories. I have basal req. of 1440 and I exercise regularly.
I put everything in fitday, and it gives me a requirement of 2200 calories ,
so it gives a 1000 calorie deficit!! I think that maybe the 1440 is way
overstimated for me, but I don't know...

Should I eat more, even if I don't feel like it? I'm only hungry in the morning, because I have only a glass of milk for breakfast, and I like the hungry feeling before lunch. It's kind of my fasting period. After that I eat anything I want to satiate me throughout the day. It always ends around the 1000-1200 calorie mark with the odd ~1300 day.

Let me know your personal experience with calories, should I just ignore them, since I'm not hungry? I do count on substituting the milk eventually if I stop losing, and maybe add some protein there, but for now I'm happy.

Cheers,
F.
