Just wondering, may post in a separate thread: what do some of you do when you have an inflammatory response to something you eat? I was in bad shape yesterday, drank some herbal tea with elderflower, ginger and turmeric in soup. I can sort of feel when the "flare" breaks and I start to get better. Foot is still bad today though. Usually I just wait it out, but tough sometimes.
Also when I get a flare like that, my appetite really drops, I don't feel like eating much till it's over. I think I'll start keeping full-fat yogurt on hand for probiotics. Are there other foods that can help, with anti-inflammatory effect?
