I don't think you can ever "go off" omega 6s. They are necessary and found in various quantities in all real foods containing fats. Those PUFAs that are manufactured from seeds (safflower, cottonseed, corn, canola (rapeseed), soybean, and others) and likely contain any of the pesticides and other chemicals used when farming the plants and processing the seeds are the real concern. I try to stick with the fats that don't go through those farming and manufacturing processes.
