Hmmm.... They are hard to bite into, but then a bit chewy. They taste sweeter than a nut, but pretty nutty.
They sell them as a flour if you don't have great teeth.

I buy the Gemini brand. It's in a white bag in whole foods, strangely in the snack area where they have kale chips and dehydrated veggies, and stuff (not with The other nuts and nut butters). The only ingredient is tiger nut. But they do also make them ground up as a flour.
