Since wheat & grains aggravate my allergies & asthma, I make my own grain-free & wheat-free hot cereal from:
~21 g flax seeds
~36 g almonds
1 t psyllium
1 t cinnamon + cloves or nutmeg if you like them
protein powder to add up to 27 g protein (my per meal quota)
dusting of stevia
dash NoSalt

I grind/pulse it all up in my Magic Bullet, add boiling water & stir, let sit a minute & enjoy - plain or with butter, cream, or a bit of coconut oil. It has the same consistency as oatmeal.

Typically I make 14 servings that I store in individual baggies in the freezer. The Nuts thread has me planning to use pecans in my next batch. This is a very quick breakfast!
