Nodiabetes, good for you for getting off your Metformin, especially if it was bothering you. I am diabetic and I can tell you that exercise will sometimes raise your blood sugar immediately afterwards, but it will come down lower in a while, and as your body gets used to the exercise it will eventually not go up as much. I wouldn't be too concerned since you said it didn't go up a lot, just more than you expected. You might have exercised a little harder too. That puts stress on the body, and stress can raise blood sugar.

Sounds like you're doing fine. Just keep testing!
