Default New to Forum - not new to dieting (ugh)

The only diet that has ever worked for me (and it always seems short term) is Atkins. I've been on an 'Atkins like' diet, I say that because I don't eat a lot of the things on the acceptable list. I needed some quick success and started on NO CARBS 3/1/18. I was fasting for 16 hours and then only eating some kind of meet and lettuce and an Atkins bar for 2 weeks. I dropped 17 pounds and feel great. But now I'm coming to the point where my weight loss is slowing (plateau) and I need to jump start it again. I've got about 50 more pounds to lose. Is it possible for a finicky eater to lose the weight on atkins? And please don't answer "don't be so finicky".
