Yes, up here in Ontario Canada, the price of imported vegetables skyrocketed in the last week or so. $8.97 for cauli, $4.97 for a bundle of broccoli .. $2.97 for a small head of romaine. These were the prices at my local "No Frills" discount grocery .. can't imagine the price at "upscale" shops . And it's not even the dead of winter yet!!

Be aware that the frozen versions of favourites like broccoli and cauli will sell out quickly, so if you've got the freezer space .. consider stocking up now before they're gone until next year's growing season is underway
