Another thing that just came to mind are the fiber grams in those squashes.
If You are doing net grams you can subtract the fiber from the carbs and maybe it's not as bad. But probably not that good for our WOE right now until we reach goal.

Oh well, So I guess I'll just stick to my old stand-byes.

Speaking of carbs in veggies, did you all know that garlic has 1g carb in 1 small clove of a head of garlic?

I actually used to cook quite a bit of garlic and onions with my two favorite squashes but I've dropped the onion and limit garlic to 1-2 whole cloves.
I leave garlic whole now so I can see them and don't eat them but I still get the flavor.

Also I just looked up pumpkin and they are up there in carbs too.
1cup of Pumpkin=19.8g carbs
