I've been lurking for a while, I'll admit. But I don't get a lot of time for the internet. I cannot recall anything that has had such a positive impact on my life as what switching to a low-carb lifestyle has done for me. I started in late march 2001, and since then have gone from 286lbs. to 204(this morning). My goal is to be about 185, or when my stomach is flat again. I've gone from a 44 inch jean to now a 34 inch. And of course, the blood pressure and cholesterol problems have vanished. I am still quite shocked as to how well I have done, considering my job as a long-haul truck driver.
