An interesting potentially useful idea for people who might be able to tolerate some carbohydrate foods to discover which ones don't have too bad an effect for them. For me, I suspect 50 grams of any carbohydrate would be way too much. However, I could benefit from this information by testing much smaller amounts of various veggies (like the tomatoes mentioned) and other things to see the personal blood sugar effect. Also, when I do test I do it at one hour because my blood sugar is about highest then and I want to know the maximum it reached, whereas by two hours it has typically gone lower.
