I have visited the site listing the top thyroid docs in my state of N.Y, and have found one, Dr. Stella Ilyayeva, and even though I'm afraid to go through all this drama again, I feel that if I don't get some answers soon I'll lose my mind.

Maria, I popped over and read that listing.
I went to several doctors, she was the only one who agreed a 4.3 TSH was too high for me even though the lab results say it was normal!. Listened to my symptoms too, not just the lab results! Very nice and understanding! Great Doctor!”

I can't say it was overly detailed enough to tell you that Dr. Ilyayeva will fix your problems. I think you need to call their office and find out if she treats low normal FT3 and FT4, doesn't mind suppressed TSH and prescribes Armour.

With that info in hand, you'll get a better idea (and will save yourself a whole lotta time and money) if this doctor is for you. She may be great, but better safe than sorry at this stage of the game.

Good luck!
