For some reason this thread reminds me of Devils on Horseback today...I see many different recipes under the same name...the ones that are not LC are bacon wrapped dates stuffed with Stilton or Asiago cheese...I used to make an appetizer of bacon wrapped dates stuffed with an almond - Martha Stewart's appetizers cookbook. I did see one for bacon wrapped skewered shrimp with a mayo sauce - same recipe name.
