Not trying to sound like a bitch but it was just something I noticed. Maybe "cheating" wasn't good in the long run.

Or it could be that those people settled into their new way of life and moved on to discussing other interests on the internet...

I personally think "cheating" or a "carb adventure" is a great idea for a lot of people like me who cannot be successful sticking to "all-low carb, all the time". For me, I've found that moderation is key and that one meal (or bite) every once in a while of pizza or mashed potatoes or bread or cake or whatever isn't going to kill me. But then, I only weigh once a week, accept my loss as what it is, and move on. If there is no loss or if I gain...well, that's another story. I make a mental note about what "cheat" food I ate and re-evaluate if I love it enough to eat it again any time soon. Everyone is different, and it took me a lot of reading and experimenting to find what (I think) is going to work for me long-term. We'll see...
