i don't know if it actually worked or not but didn't there used to be a saying that if you drank a glass of milk before drinking you wouldn't get drunk very quickly? Does anyone know what it was in the milk that would prevent someone from getting as drunk as quickly?

i do have to say though that orange juice is pretty high in carbs and i still got schnookered when i drank screwdrivers lol

i haven't had a drink in a few years but i had my first(and only) blackout while drinking white russians. i can't remember though if we used milk or half & half for those .. of course i cannot really remember much at all about that night.
