It is possible to find blanket statements about the dangers of saturated fats, but there is little to no research showing these supposed dangers. As far as the statement that switching from saturated fat to unsaturated lowering heart disease by 1/2, this is at best a misstatement and at worst a blatant lie. There is nothing to prove this conclusion if the carbs are kept within reason. Since this is a low carb forum, I am assuming that this applies to all here.
BTW, if anyone assumes that canola oil is a safe substance comapred to olive oil, again, do the research. Nyah Levi
