In my opinion, Protein Power and Atkins are the same diet described differently. If you looked at the menus of 100 people on Atkins and 100 people on Protein Power you would not be able to tell which were following which diet.

I would suggest trying something more different. Are you eating any of the Atkins products, like candy, prepared meals, bars, shakes? Those should be the first to go. Low carb processed food is just as bad as other processed food.

Second, are you drinking alcohol? That should go if you are.

Third, a lot of people suddenly begin to lose when they give up dairy. Dairy is highly insulinogenic, more than any other protein. It might take a a few weeks to get it out of your system, but give it a try.

Keep in mind that protein stimulates the production of insulin almost as much as carbohydrate. Are you eating low fat? It's counterproductive. Low carb should be high fat because if you're loading up on protein you're stimulating insulin secretion almost as much as eating high carb.
