Welcome Beth, glad to have you with us.

Have a wonderful vacation Floridadad. It is possible to stay on plan and actually even lose weight while vacationing! Focus on fun and relaxing things to do that don't involve food. Sometimes being out of the house (away from the kitchen) and busy with new/exciting vacationing things can actually help you stay on plan. Pick your restaurants carefully and choose lowest carb options. Everytime you feel tempted to go off plan and indulge in something carby, tell yourself NOPE! Instead of indulging in that food - which will only make me feel miserable - I going to go DO/SEE X that will really give me a good vacation memory! I'm sure you can think of a dozen things to sub in for X. Play golf, go swimming, climb a mountain, go to a show, see a historical site, visit an art museum, go out dancing, drive off road a ways to see some gorgeous spot that few tourists see, try to make a new friend who doesn't speak English.... It your vacation! Enjoy it!!! See you back here next week.
