I absolutely agree with him about November. It lasts forever.

However I hope this is not going to be another attack on putting the clocks back to GMT in the UK at the end of October. I can handle darkness falling earlier, but I dislike getting up in the dark with a passion, which is what we would have to endure for 4 months with year-round BST.
