Maybe the concerns is that, if you're following Atkins to the letter, you're not getting any/many omega 6s anymore? How many LCers are eating a lot of corn or soybean oil? Are we eating enough avocados and nuts to balance out the fish oils?
My understanding is that the omegas need to be in balance, and having too many omega 3s has similar health consequences to having too many omega 6s. It's just that "omega 3 overdose" is much less common.
