Default Is Oprah really a good weightloss expert?

I saw something on TV that was talking about Oprah, her weight loss and bread.
It made me wonder, is she really a good example of weight loss or is she leading people astray in thinking they can continue eating all of the things that made them fat in the first place?

Then I began wondering what her numbers are, is she diabetic, is her blood pressure high, is she on meds for all for all of that?

Then I thought about us here on the forum, with our LC plans that has no multimillion add campaign and no big star doing TV commercials to promote our WOE. We have guided ourselves in this direction because we are more educated on what will really work in the long run for our weight loss but also our health. Most of us have read multiple books and articles about LC.

I think the group meetings of WW do provide some sense of support for a lot of people but every time I've checked, WW still will not admit that LC is the only way to really loose weight for a change of life and improve all of our numbers at the same time so that we don't become victims of the pharmaceutical industry.

I just wonder if Oprah isn't doing real damage to the public health by pushing a weight loss plan that is not only not sustainable in the long run but actually will make people stay sick when there is a method that works.

What do you think?
