Default Supplements and blood sugar

Hi. I am diabetic and stage 1 high blood pressure but on no medicines as so far I am trying to control these conditions with low carb diet / lifestyle.

I do take a lot of supplements though including CoQ10, 2 high quality fish oils, potassium, magnesium, B vitamins, Vit. D & E, other misc. supplements and most recently niacin (to help blood pressure)

I know you have to be kind of careful with Dr. "Google" but I read somewhere recently that fish oils and niacin (which I take for heart and blood pressure) might raise blood sugars.

My blood sugars are still in the normal range so far but have been creeping up in the last year. I'd hate to work on blood pressure only to raise blood sugars? Maybe you'd have to take a lot of niacin -- I only take one cap but I do take 3 fish oils ( 1 super DHA and 2 3, 6, 9 caps) .

I was wondering if anyone here knows about his issue? Like I said it might just be old Dr. Google messing with me.

Thanks

Dennis
