I do Bullet Proof Tea with coconut oil. It can even be herbal tea with no caffeine. Often I don't eat until mid-afternoon. I can have a regular breakfast, then coast until dinner.
Taking 3k of niacin daily has let me effortlessly eat only two meals a day. As Dr. Fung of fasting fame points out, it's the stretch without food that lets the insulin drop. Lots of good things follow from there.
As I understand it, MCT oil doesn't get digested, just goes straight into the bloodstream.
Butter? Maybe when it come to good-fat-deprived organisms, it can do wonders
