I have always loved to cook and when we started this WOE I thought my fun and my reputation would suffer; I could not have been more wrong. For example, I have discovered that there are many alternatives to the usual boring potatoes, rice, and noodles. Where is it written that hash browns have to contain potatoes; I make them with small white turnips or with daikon and a little onion and they are delicious. And we all know how useful cauliflower is!

In my refrigeratorefrigerator you will always find:

Heavy cream
Light cream (for coffee)
butter, butter, butter (due to a great sale, there are 20 pounds of the stuff in my freezer : )
Lots of cheese: cheddar, havarti, parmesan, double and triple cream brie, feta
Cream cheese
Ricotta
sour cream
Sugar free peanut butter
At least three dozen eggs (I buy them at a local farm)
Cauliflower
Cabbage
Brocolli
Turnips
Eggplant for baba ghanouj or to use instead of lasagna
Bacon
Frozen raspberries and blueberries
Frozen spinach - lots
Celery
Lettuce
Fresh fish
Homemade faux maple syrup

In the pantry or on the countertop:

Canned pumpkin for un-pie
Onions
Grape tomatoes (terrific with cream cheese)
Coconut milk
Splenda
Pure sucralose (my new favorite sweetener)
Unsweetened baking chocolate
Unsweetened cocoa
Unsweetened coconut
Davinci sugar free syrups - at least half a dozen flavors
Gallons of seltzer for Italian sodas
Diet soda, but just one or two kinds because we like the Italian sodas better
Pork rinds
Nuts (well, most of them are in the freezer)
Tuna
Two thickeners called not/Starch and not/Sugar which have no carbs are work really well

In the freezer:
Almond flour and Oat flour, neither of which I had ever bought before this WOL
Beef
Pork
Chicken
La Tortilla low-carb tortillas
Kielbasa
Sausage - my butcher makes his with no sugar or additives

Well, there's probably more, but it's 90 degrees in the shade today and I can't think of anything else.
